Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or should I say ‘breaking the fast’?

I know, for me, I don’t consider myself a ‘breakfast person’ because I like to practice intermittent fasting on most days, but at any meal that’s your first meal of the day, you’re breaking the fast from since you last ate.

Anywhoo! Let’s talk about WHAT you should be eating first and why: FRUIT.

I talk about the importance of drinking water and staying hydrated; HOWEVER, ingesting fruits and vegetables regularly provides your body with proper hydration more than just drinking water alone.

Here are 5 benefits to why having fruit, alone, for breakfast will do your body wonders:

  1. Natural detox- By having fruit first thing, you’re allowing your body to go through a natural detoxification process that stimulates your digestive tract. Fruit adds more energy to this process, allowing your body to ease into eating from being in a fasted state.
