Keep it Moving

Exercise your mind and body to exercise your life. That's what it's all about.

Working out shows discipline. When people dedicate just one hour a day to get their body moving, this shows self respect and self love! Exercise is great for your mind, body, and soul and can be done in many different forms!

In order to keep your life moving forward, your body has to do the same thing. When you keep your body moving, you are keeping the energy flowing to reap so many benefits!

Benefits of exercise include (and are not limited to):

-better mood; stress reliever

-clearer skin (detox through sweat)

-increased lung capacity (breath work)

-stronger muscles; fat loss

-longevity

-confidence

-overall better health

I've always stayed on a pretty good regimen with exercise. It's the best way I start my day. I've been a runner most of life since high school when I was on the cross-country team. So, I used to start every morning with a 30 minute run outside. Cardio is very therapeutic for me, as well, because you get time to yourself. Working out brings you to the present moment, which is the best moment to be in, always!

I love going to classes lately. I find that it's so refreshing to get together with others who want the same as you: a good workout and to feel good whether it's yoga, boot camp, Pilates, etc. Working out brings so many positives that it's become something I've become addicted to in the best way. I work out at least 5 days a week on any given week and it's become a real game changer! I love the way I feel when I am pushing my body to its limits.

For me, I love working out FIRST thing in the morning to start the tone of my day. The music, the people, the energy, and the way I feel after the class is all worth waking up early to get in a great workout!

Even on days that I can't make it to a class because my schedule can get too busy, I ensure to run for maybe a mile or two on the treadmill as fast as I can, which takes me about 18 minutes including a one minute to warm up before and a one minute to cool down. It's so worth it!

How do you feel about exercise?

What's your favorite workout?

Let me know in the comments! :)

Much love!
